Each pet coming in for grooming needs to have a full bath unless otherwise requested by the owners.
A standard bath would use purple tear free shampoo on the face and the tan concentrated shampoo on the body.
The face shampoo should not be watered down as it helps keep it out of the pet's eyes and nose.
Just because it's tear free does NOT mean to intentionally wash over their eyes with it.
The body shampoo needs to be diluted with warm water 32/1 or 50/1 per gallon depending on brand.
This would equal 1 inch or 3 oz in a gallon jug.
Shake well before using.

If the pet appears to already have a skin issue tell the groomer who will need to consult the medical team before bathing.
After they are done with the medical side make sure to ask if the pet needs a medicated bath.
A med bath would come AFTER a normal bath is complete as the regular shampoo gets all the debris off and helps the medicated shampoo do its job.
Only use this shampoo on the body as it can burn the eyes.
Miconahex is the brand we use for this.
The shampoo needs to rest on the pet for 10 mins and then be rinsed off.
Any pet getting a med bath DOES NOT get cologne after the groom.
Also, there is no extra charge for the medicated bath.
